Consultation For All Pets
Besides dogs and cats, we also do consults for pocket pets such as rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, hamster and terrapin. A consultation usually begins with pet owners giving a thorough history of their pet and the reasons for their pet’s visit. The vet also perform a physical examination on your pet including oral examination if required.
Vaccination
Canine Core Vaccination
-Vaccination of healthy dogs 6 weeks of age (puppy) or older as an aid in preventing canine distemper caused by canine distemper (CD) virus, infectious canine hepatitis (ICH) caused by canine adenovirus type 1 (CAV-1), respiratory disease caused by canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV-2), canine parainfluenza caused by canine parainfluenza (CPI) virus, enteritis caused by canine parvovirus (CPV), and leptospirosis caused by Leptospira canicola, L. grippotyphosa, L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and L. pomona.
Feline Core Vaccination
-Vaccination of healthy cats 6 weeks of age and older for prevention of disease due to feline rhinotracheitis, calici, and panleukopenia viruses and as an aid in the reduction of disease due to Chlamydia psittaci.
Kennel Cough Vaccination
-Non-core vaccine but is highly recommended for dogs that frequently visit boarding kennels, dog parks or places where they get to meet other dogs
-intranasal immunization against B. bronchiseptica, canine parainfluenza virus and canine adenovirus type 2.
Rabies Vaccination
-Non-core vaccine that is usually given to dogs and cats which require export to certain countries. It is an inactivated vaccine for the prevention of rabies in dogs and cats.
Parasite Control
Animals are susceptible to parasites, both internal (intestinal) and external, depending on where they have been, and with whom they have been in contact with. This can cause distress to pet owners, who may be unfamiliar with what parasites their pets may have, and what needs to be done to eradicate the parasites.
Some parasites can transmit other diseases, and may not be easily seen on the pet, and the pet may not exhibit any symptoms. Prevention is of utmost importance, as some parasitic conditions can be fatal, if diagnosed late or untreated.

Some pet owners might view dental health an unimportant aspect of their pet’s health or even assume that their pet’s bad breath is just an aging sign but this is not true. Periodontal disease occurs commonly when plague and tartar form around the teeth, causing gum swelling and tooth decay. This not only causes pain and local infection, but also affects the kidneys, heart and liver.
During your pet’s routine check-up with us, our trained veterinarians will assess your pet’s teeth, and give you options to optimize your pet’s oral health, while taking quality of life and health status into consideration. Other than dental scaling, we also perform teeth extractions, filing of pocket pets’ teeth, and treatment of tooth root abscesses.
Microchipping
In accordance with Singapore’s licensing rules, we do microchipping of your pets to ensure that they can be traced and returned to you safely.
Health Certification For Export
Before exporting your pet out of Singapore, you will be required to produce a veterinary certificate to show that your pet is healthy and free from any contagious or infectious disease. We are able to examine your pet to check that it is fit for travel, and issue a veterinary certificate for you, which will be valid for 7 days in most cases.
